1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply once a lesson, test or service is booked with SafePass Driving School ("SafePass", "we", "us", "our").
1.2 SafePass may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. SafePass reserves the right to change and/or add these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The most current version will apply to all bookings.
1.3 By booking or participating in any SafePass service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2.1 Lessons and tests are subject to availability and must be booked in advance.
2.2 Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3 Bookings may be made via phone, message, or online platforms where available.
2.4 A booking is confirmed once payment has been received and confirmation is provided by SafePass.
2.5 In the interest of road safety, a no-phones policy applies during all driving lessons. Any booking or enquiries, please leave a message or send a text, and we will respond as soon as possible.
3.1 Lessons commence and conclude at the agreed pick-up and drop-off location specified at the time of booking.
3.2 Lesson time includes briefing and debriefing.

5.1 SafePass may assist with VORT preparation and booking where permitted.
5.2 All VORTs are conducted in accordance with South Australian government requirements, including:
5.3 If you select a VORT test only service, a processing fee of $30 will be applied. SafePass Driving School will arrange the VORT with an examiner who is independent of SafePass. SafePass is not responsible for any payment transactions or the outcome of the test.
The examiner’s name and contact details can be provided so you may contact them directly regarding payment, test results, or related enquiries. Any complaints regarding the VORT must be directed to the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) and not to SafePass Driving School.
6.1 Lesson cancellations:
6.2 Test (VORT) cancellations will be charged in full.
6.3 SafePass may refuse or cancel a lesson if a learner is unfit to drive or suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
6.4 SafePass may reschedule lessons or tests with reasonable notice due to illness, vehicle issues, weather, traffic conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
6.5 Any cancellation fees must be paid before booking or attending further lessons. All fees include GST where applicable. If a lesson is funded by an agency or organisation, the cancellation fee will be billed to the funding body.
7.1 Refund requests must be made within a reasonable time of purchase.
7.2 Approved refunds are issued to the original payer using the original payment method.
7.3 No refunds apply for late cancellations or non-attendance.
7.4 Refunds are not available for Vehicle On-Road Test (VORT) once it is booked and confirmed, as SafePass does not get any refunds from DIT (Department for Infrastructure and Transport) once booked.
8.1 Learners are responsible for:
8.2 Where SafePass pays costs on behalf of a learner, the learner agrees to reimburse SafePass upon request.
8.3 SafePass is not liable for indirect or consequential loss except where required by law.
9.1 SafePass provides lessons with due care and skill in accordance with applicable laws.
9.2 All instructors hold a valid South Australian Motor Driving Instructor licence.
9.3 SafePass does not guarantee:
9.4 SafePass recommends a minimum of 8–10 hours of professional training to adequately prepare for the VORT. If a student chooses to undertake only 1–3 hours of training prior to the VORT, SafePass accepts no responsibility for the outcome or result of the test.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
